Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time has taken one step closer to the big screen. Jennifer Lee, co-director of the runaway hit Frozen, will write the movie adaptation of the book for Disney. According to Variety, the book was one of Lee’s favorites as a child. Her script focuses on a female-driven narrative and doesn’t shy away from the sci-fi pieces of the story. They don’t have a director for the project, so there’s no release date information just yet. Fingers crossed the adaptation keeps moving forward.
