Guillermo del Toro is one of those visionary directors that has a unique, unmistakable style. Even if you’re a huge fan of his work, you were probably only aware of how brilliantly he uses color on a subconscious level.
The following video by director/editor Quentin Dumas aims to change that. It shows how del Toro often groups reds, blues and yellows to set a scene. After watching it, you’ll appreciate his work on a whole new level.
