Seeing Legolas wielding a bow and arrow on the big-screen is all the more impressive because no one could shoot arrows that fast in real life—or could they? This is Danish archer Lars Anderson and he’s been practicing some ancient archery techniques that are incredible. The trick is to hold the arrows in your hand rather than keeping them in the quiver.
He’s able to shoot 10 arrows in 4.9 seconds, or eleven arrows before the first hits the ground. He can also shoot three arrows in under a second while falling or shoot three disks while running backwards in 1.12 seconds. Maybe he is Legolas. Has anyone checked to see if he has pointy ears?
