This Is How You Do Live Action Dragon Ball Z [Video]

Finally a Dragon Ball Z film to be excited about. This fan made video is for a webseries called Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope and is based on The History of Trunks TV special.

The non profit crew of 70 has produced a really well made pilot episode with awesome fight scenes and incredible special effects. And with 1.5 million views so far, fans are once again hopeful for the continuation of a DBZ life action series since the terrible disappointment that hit the box office back in 2009.

They explain their mission thusly:

“Our goal is to bring the Dragon Ball world to life in a way that’s never been done before, while staying true to the characters and story.

In Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope, Gohan and Trunks fight against the unstoppable Androids #17 and #18 and try to save as many human lives as possible. The young Trunks must grow up quickly and learn from his mentor, Gohan; but with battles to fight on both the outside and inside, how long can they endure, and where will they find a light of hope?”
