We’re sad to report that Harold Ramis, the writer, actor and director behind some of our favorite movies (Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day and Caddyshack to name a few) has died from complications related to auto-immune inflammatory vasculitis—a rare condition he has battled for several years.

It goes without saying, but Harold Ramis was a comedy legend, and he will be greatly missed.
