Harry Potter Gets A Book Club And ‘Cursed Child’ Comes To Broadway

There are two bits of interesting Harry Potter news to report today. First off, the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play has finally settled on a date for its Broadway debut at the Lyric Theatre: April 22, 2018. Tickets will go on sale sometime this fall, and they will undoubtedly sell out in an instant. So keep tabs on the Cursed Child Twitter page for info.

The second bit of news is that Pottermore has announced that an official Wizarding World Book Club is coming soon.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Pottermore invites fans old and new to join the Wizarding World Book Club – a free, online club to examine and debate every book in the Harry Potter series.

The Wizarding World Book Club kicks off in June, and to take part you just need to read (or re-read) a Harry Potter book each month – or more, as the books get longer. You can then join in a conversation about it on Twitter, or simply check Pottermore to learn more about each story.

Apparently, Pottermore will have an entire section dedicated to the book club, where fans can get information about each week’s theme and gather rewards for their reading progress. Head on over to Pottermore for more info.
