‘Sherlock’ Creators Are Developing A ‘Dracula’ Series

With Sherlock and Doctor Who off their plates, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat are searching for a new project to collaborate on. It appears they found it with Dracula.

According to Variety, Gatiss and Moffat are in talks with the BBC, and plan to write the series following the same miniseries format as Sherlock. At this point, we don’t know whether that will include bringing the character into the 21st century. I really hope that it doesn’t.

Odds are it will be quite some time before this show actually airs—time that you can spend thinking about who would be a good fit for the lead role.
