The Frog That Got Way Too Close To NASA’S Rocket Launch

NASA launched the LADEE spacecraft last week on a course to the moon. During the launch NASA’s camera captured something unusual. If you look closely at the exhaust, you can spot an airborne amphibian. And yes, NASA has confirmed it’s a legitimate photo.

This frog was too close to the flame and was just swept away. Whether he or she has always harbored dreams of being an astronaut or not, it was mostly likely the end of the poor frog. Here’s to you, Space Frog! We’ll never forget.
