ThinkGeek Names Winner Of Geekiest Campus

ThinkGeek RIT

ThinkGeek has gone on an important quest for all of you trying to decide which college to attend; they’ve located the Geekiest Campus in the United States through a national search. They said they “were looking for the school whose students proudly proclaimed themselves to be geeks and then proved it throughout the academic year.” Hundreds of schools replied to ThinkGeek’s call for entries, and they’ve sifted through them and proclaimed Rochester Institute of Technology in Maryland to the be the winner.

Why RIT? Student Ben S. says they have a campus wide nerf survival battle called Humans vs. Zombies (it sounds like Community!) and their most popular clubs are juggling, quidditch, and an electronic gaming society. Beyond the fun and games, they keep engaged on the academic front. Because of their awesomeness, ThinkGeek rewarded the school with a $250 gift certificate and a geek trivia night.

This is much cooler and more useful than finding out which colleges are the best party schools.
