The Linksys Wireless-G Travel Router is one of the most immediately useful devices that I have seen come across lately. While other new products are looking for a market, I could find a use for this device at least a few times a week. Offering the ability to have a compact device that can allow you to wirelessly share a connection, for $99 I would put one of these in my laptop bag for all those times when it may com in handy.

Mobile Tech Today reviewed the device and gave it a 4 out of 5 rating. Chief complaint is the lack of range because of the internal antenna, if they gave it an optional external antenna this could be an almost perfect device for it’s intended use. Setup is simple, and it offers some pretty advanced security features for a small, portable device. I recommend it highly enough that I may just go get myself one. There are just too many times I could put this to good use.
