All things considered, the Mvix MV-5000U Multimedia Center was a viable option for those seeking a solid, inexpensive solution to their media storage and playback needs. However, the notable absence of built in WiFi / LAN connectivity and HD support left some room for improvement.
Fortunately, Mvix seems to have listened to their customers when they developed the new MX-760HD Wireless Media Center. You can see it right there in the title – “Wireless” and “HD.”

The MX-760HD is expected to launch on December 1st, but pre-orders are now available via the Mvix website. Prices range from $329 with no HDD to $728 with a bundled 750GB drive. The Car Pack accessory kit is also available for an extra $24.99.
It looks as if Mvix really got it right this time with the MX-760HD. A definitive review will be available on Nerd Approved soon.
