Chances are you have a Clark Griswold in your neighborhood that goes all out each year with the holiday decorations. Maybe you are that Clark Griswold. Either way, it would be hard to compete with the ten displays featured here. These are the kind of displays that can bring down an entire power grid, back up traffic and have neighbors assembling with torches. If the melting of the polar ice caps accelerates this month, you’ll know who to blame.

This holiday, give the gift that keeps on torturing—Think Geek’s Tannenbomb. When sitting in the box, it looks like any other ornament with zombies and robots on it. But when you hang it on the tree it activates the machine within to periodically emit annoying sounds like a mosquito buzzing, beeps, crickets and elf giggles.
Oh, and the batteries last for months. Happy holidays!

A 4-inch tall version of yourself that is.
Paul Pape Designs is currently taking orders for personalized Star Wars carbonite sculptures. Made of plastic and Super Sculpey, the finished product measures 1 3/4″ wide, 4 1/4″ high and 3/4″ thick (Christmas ornament maybe?).
All you need to do is submit an image to the artist. It can be in the classic carbonite pose or something more “whimsical”. They will take care of the rest. And the best part is that it only costs $50—including shipping.
The only problem is that Pape is limiting the run to 200 pieces, so if you want one you had better hurry. The first batch ships in mid-November and the second in mid-December.

Want to nerd up your ride in a cheap and easy way? If you happen to have a car with a hood ornament, you can replace it with something like this Stormtrooper head.
Flickr user Agent RayBans explains that he used the head of this McDonalds Stormtrooper bobblehead as the foundation for the ornament. If you can get your hands on one, or something like it, check out Geeks are Sexy to find out how he affixed it to his Park Avenue.
