Sideshow released a full preview of a new Marvel collectible today. They’re releasing a premium format figure of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and it’s hot—that’s tthe only word for it. You can pre-order this figure through the Sideshow newsletter on Thursday, February 9th. It’s priced at $324.99.

New superhero movies mean a whole line of new toys, and images of from The Dark Knight Rises lineup hit the internet today ahead of their official debut at the Toy Fair. There’s some new Batman figures, but the Funko Bane and Catwoman toys take the prize. Please note that the drill suit accessory from the one Batman figure is a bit on the ridiculous side.
No word on specific release dates or prices just yet. For now, enjoy the photos after the break.
Nickelodeon is releasing a new CG animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show later this year, and that of course means new toys. Playmates has several options for fans of the fighting reptiles. You can get basic or deluxe figures, classic and new style TMNTs, and there’s a sewer playset option. The only thing I see missing is an April action figure (though I think you can see her in the playset photo).
Check out lots of photos of the new line after the break.

Pictures of upcoming figures and busts from The Dark Knight Rises DC Direct lineup have made their way out of the UK Toy Fair this week, some of which give us a better look at that Catwoman costume that everyone has made such a fuss about. And by “better look” I mean a pretty close-up look at her butt.
Check out more pics from the 6-inch figure, 12-inch statue and busts lineup after the break courtesy of Idle Hands.
Thanks to Marvel’s recent liveblog with Hasbro, we now have some new images of the Avengers movie toy line, which includes 3.75″ action figures of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Loki. An assortment of vehicles, exclusives and possibly variants are also expected, although no details have yet been released.
Check out some additional photos of the figures after the break.

Check out Series 2 after the break.
This may be the action figure you never knew you wanted. Samurai Pizza Cats aired from 1990-1991, and now you can finally get a 5 inch, fully articulated action figure of Speedy. He comes with weapons and a stand for them. The collectible should be available in the spring so keep your eyes peeled for pre-order dates!

It’s a pity to waste action figure cards. I tend to throw them away after I remove the toy (I’m not a figure on card kind of girl), but Kevin Gawthrope has found a genius use for them. You can get a notebook with a variety of Kenner action figure backs, and you can choose for the paper to be lined or blank. I need all of them.
If you can’t get enough of Star Wars notebooks, don’t forget about these moleskines.
