at-at

What do an Imperial Walker and a vinyl record have in common? They can be put together to make a clock. It’s so obvious!

Okay, maybe not, but the end result is neat. This clock is hand cut from a random record and made to order. If you like the Star Wars vehicle without the clock parts you can just order the wall decoration version.

Something tells me that the AT-AT Walker walker will be commonplace for an elderly Star Wars generation. Mine’s going to have flames on the sides.

I know Luke took out a few of these on Hoth, but this is one that even he’d think twice about attacking. I mean, it has glowy lights and stuff so it’s clearly much cooler. This casemod is actually a Hasbro AT-AT with a  Zotax Z68 Mini ITX mobo with an Intel Core i7-2600K CPU, a Sapphire 6870 GPU and 8GB of RAM stuffed inside. I’m going to be honest, I’m not really a spec geek so I have absolutely no idea what that means, but it’s a PC that looks like an AT-AT and it’s awesome!

Real friends might help you move bodies, but true friends will build your cats a condo that looks like an AT-AT. Billy Appletini is just such a friend. One of his pals loves Star Wars and has two cats, so it seemed like a natural fit for a present. It’s rather awesome. From the comments on Reddit:

I wouldn’t consider myself a great woodworker or an artist – but I will take credit for being committed to a joke. I wrecked my house for a month building this, which was about 27 days longer than I wish it would have taken. The trickiest part was keeping any of my friends from coming inside my place for that whole time – I knew they wouldn’t be able to keep it a secret!

The inside of the CAT-AT has a fully furnished luxury cat condo.

Of course the inside has details, too. You’ll find mounted bird heads (fake ones), a mini bar, and disco bar. The cats that get to lounge around in this are the luckiest felines ever and their owner? Well, he should be thankful to have a great and talented friend.

The artist behind this beautiful AT-AT painting is unknown, but it appears to be a humorous take on The Fighting Temeraire by J.M.W.Turner.

In his ultra-unique At-Attack lamp, Etsy seller Zygmunt Jarzembowski depicts a gaggle of superheros descending from an AT-AT, including Batman, Wolverine, Theoden King of Rohan, Lara Croft, Frodo Baggins, Matrix Trinity, The Thing, Mr Fantastic, Spiderman, and Conan the Barbarian—with the action being directed by J. Jonah Jameson.

The item has sold on Etsy, but the product page states that commissions are available.

When you’re facing difficult terrain, say like the ice planet of Hoth, 4WD is helpful. Hobbyist Christopher Aleria used an Axial Rock Crawler to give this Imperial Walker extra traction. An AT-AT on wheels would be almost unstoppable. This custom set-up would prevent being tripped by ships after all. Don’t tell the Empire.
