From CubicleBot: Ed Fries, former VP of Microsoft’s game publishing division returns to his roots in more ways than one with Halo 2600. In fact, the game was actually released in cartridge form for a very limited run of 500 at the recent Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, a commemorative 2600 oz beer stein would have been impractical, but 25 oz is not bad either. That’s around 2 bottles of beer in each serving—or 104 fills to complete the 2600 oz challenge.  That’s impossible in one sitting of course, but my guess is that around four or five mugs in you will probably think its 1982. Close enough.

Just don’t go mixing your Atari beer with Atari shots. There isn’t any Atari aspirin—yet.

You know how it goes. You start the night off with a few Atari pints then you end up switching to Atari shots at some point—against your better judgment of course. One thing leads to another and eventually you wake up in a puddle of your own vomit wearing lederhosen with bite marks on your nipples that aren’t human. Happens every time.
