Square Enix recently debuted some new photos of their upcoming Play Arts Kai Batgirl Figure and, like most Play Arts figures, it looks fantastic.

The figure is based off the costume that Barbara Gordon (aka Batgirl) wore in the Batman: Arkham Knight DLC story, Batgirl: A Matter of Family. She stands at 10″, and boasts a cool cape, interchangeable hands, a batarang and, of course, an awesome grapple gun. The figure will be priced at 12,000 Yen (roughly $117). and is expected to arrive in August.

2014 Maihack Supergirl Batgirl Comic

Illustrator Mike Maihack has made the holidays more festive for a few years now by giving us adorable Batgirl and Supergirl Christmas comics. Supergirl is more enthusiastic about Christmas than Batgirl, and she tries to drag the reluctant superhero into her joyful celebration every year.

This year Supergirl confuses Christmas with Halloween, but a surprise appearance from Batman validates her mix-up. It’s adorable.

Batgirl recently got a makeover when her comic got a new creative team. She moved to Burnside and seems a little more lighthearted and has a touch of sass that wasn’t evident before. DC Collectibles is taking the design of this Barbara Gordon by Cameron Stewart and Babs Tarr and turning it into a statue for their Black and White line of figures. The statue is sculpted by Irene Matar, and it looks absolutely beautiful.

The sad news? Batgirl won’t be out until September 2015.

Sideshow Collectibles has just announced a new addition to their DC Comics collection with this new Premium Format Batgirl.

Standing close to two feet tall, this gorgeous statue of Barbara Gordon as Batgirl captures all of her smarts, sass, and style as she sizes up a target and readies her Batarang.

I especially love the motion of the cape and her heels. I’m a sucker for a good pair of boots.

The figure is estimated to arrive in July 2015, but you can pre-order now.

Head after the break to see more pictures.

Artist Mike Maihack has given us a cute Supergirl and Batgirl Christmas comic before, and this year he’s at it again. Supergirl is decorating everything in sight and it’s wonderful, but it’s possible Batgirl thinks she’s gone one step too far.

Mike Maihack has drawn a few adorable Batgirl and Supergirl comics in his day. In this latest installment, he shows us how the two superheroes plan to celebrate Christmas. I especially like the pom poms on Batgirl’s ears.
