This Monkey Light 8-Bit Bike Wheel Light from ThinkGeek will turn riding excursions into light shows through the use of 5 super-bright LEDs on each side of your tire. A battery pack straps to the bike’s wheel hub while the light unit quickly installs near the tire, beaming out 20 different light patterns and a variety of different colors.

In addition to being waterproof, the device offers a stainless steel anti-theft strap, 2 year manufacturer warranty and up to 40 hours of runtime. Check out a demo video after the break.

This middle finger bike lock was designed with “thieving bastards” in mind, and will allow you to pass along your “FU” message to anyone who gets the urge to jack your wheels. The lock is made from steel alloy to make it super strong, is relatively lightweight and nearly indestructible.

Push bikes (or balance bikes) are a great way for kids to learn, but this custom Light Cycle version from Trek designer Ryan Callahan is clearly too cool for preschool. The only problem is that it’s a one-off concept bike created for a recent TrekWorld trade show.

However, we’re still holding out hope that your kid could be derezzing other kids on the playground sometime in the near future.

Nice work, but some LEDs on the spokes would be even more awesome. That and gears. It seems that Aperture scientists are a bunch of hipsters.

In it’s current state, riding the Brickapolis Lego brick bike might pose something of a challenge. However, it would literally be the most fantastic ride ever if the concept could be mimicked in an actual, working bike.

At some point, every model builder looks at a kit they’re working on and thinks “why couldn’t this be 1:1 scale?”, which then leads to thoughts of being able to drive your favorite car, fly your favorite airplane or sail your favorite ship. There is a 1:1 kit out there, but it’s a Modular Triathlon Kit created by Speedo, and is much more boring then bigger and faster modes of transportation.

Instead of missiles and high performance engine components, this kit includes a full-scale Evans Cycles bike, water flippers, all terrain sneakers, a wetsuit, backbrace, backpack, 2 pairs of goggles, and a water bottle all by Speedo. Although it’s only a one off window gimmick, it’s still a kit you could actually use for a purpose other than display and dust collection.

Wanna lose weight? Mount that skeleton bicycle and ride it…hard. So hard.

Designed by Eric Tryon, the skeleton bicycle is actually functional—its arms and head even move when you make turns (and the demon horn handlebars coming out of the skull are a nice touch). As far as I’m concerned, it’s even creepier than the Terminator-style Bio-Cycle design from a couple of years ago.

hamburger-bike-bell

Just the thought of grabbing a hamburger should be enough to keep you motivated to ride your bike that last few miles—and this hamburger bell sitting on your handlebars will not fail to remind you. As the old saying goes, every time a burger bell rings, the Hamburglar gets violated in prison.

I don’t quite understand the point behind a Transformers 1/9th scale bike model, but it exists nonetheless.  I suppose when you have a major summer blockbuster action movie on deck, it is crucial that you capture the all important bike enthusiast demographic if you want to win at the box office. The Decepticon version is pictured after the break.
