busts

Pictures of upcoming figures and busts from The Dark Knight Rises DC Direct lineup have made their way out of the UK Toy Fair this week, some of which give us a better look at that Catwoman costume that everyone has made such a fuss about. And by “better look” I mean a pretty close-up look at her butt.

Check out more pics from the 6-inch figure, 12-inch statue and busts lineup after the break courtesy of Idle Hands.

angel-of-death-bust.jpg

I finally got a chance to see Hellboy II yesterday and I must say that it was fantastic. This was due, in no small part, to the creatures that Guillermo del Toro cooked up this time around. The Angel of Death is definitely one of the most striking and brilliant examples of his work in the movie, and when you see it you can’t help but notice that this thing is absolutely huge. That having been said, the fact that Sideshow Collectibles is cooking up a life-sized bust of this creature has everyone wondering how big (and how expensive) it will really be. Unfortunately, that information is being kept under wraps for now.

stealth-ironman-bust.jpg

The Stealth Iron Man Legendary Scale Bust is a 1:2 scale version of the blue ‘stealth’ armor from Iron Man #152. Features include: a polystone cast with hand painted details and embedded LEDs that light up the eyes and the Unibeam. Naturally, all of that quality won’t come cheap, so expect to drop $200 on this collectors item when it hits later this month. A video and additional images are available after the break.
