While testing a myth about whether other items shot out of a cannon would be as effective as an actual cannonball, the Mythbusters accidentally sent one soaring through a neighborhood near the bomb range where they were performing their tests. The cannonball flew 700 yards and hit a house before bouncing across a road, hitting another house, and crashing through the window of a parked minivan. Thankfully nobody was injured in the incident.
