Pictures of upcoming figures and busts from The Dark Knight Rises DC Direct lineup have made their way out of the UK Toy Fair this week, some of which give us a better look at that Catwoman costume that everyone has made such a fuss about. And by “better look” I mean a pretty close-up look at her butt.
Check out more pics from the 6-inch figure, 12-inch statue and busts lineup after the break courtesy of Idle Hands.

When you hear about Sonoma County in California, you probably think of rolling hills and wineries. You’ll find an abundance of both of those things, but if you look harder you’ll also find the unexpected. Like the world’s largest private collection of Star Wars memorabilia. You read that right. Steve Sansweet’s Rancho Obi-Wan is over 9,000 square feet and chock-full of every Star Wars collectible you can imagine. I’m still trying to wrap my head around everything I saw on my visit earlier this month. And guess what? Visiting Rancho is not an unobtainable dream. Now you can explore the collection for yourself.

This isn’t the cuddly, animated Alice you’re used to seeing. American McGee’s Alice: Madness Returns is back, and Diamond Select Toys has captured the characters in collectible form. The designs are based on the appearance of the characters in the EA/Spicy Horse game.
The figures will be released in specialty stores and comic shops this summer, and the collection of 7″ scale figures includes Alice, the Cheshire Cat, and a Card Guard.

The rights to Superman were sold for a mere $130. Sure, in 1938 that was a small fortune, but still. Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel sold their rights to their creation with this piece of paper, and it was recently located. An image of the check was tweeted on October 23 and it’s possible the check comes from a Comics Connect auction tied to Siegel’s estate, but it’s not certain.
It’s a critical piece of not just comic book history but pop culture and even U.S. history. Superman is a widely beloved character, and this check helped push the superhero to what he is today. Additionally, legal battles over this check and rights time may have helped shape current U.S. copyright laws. Comic Connect presented a timeline of the check’s whereabouts, and you can view it after the break:

NECA has teamed up with BioShock Infinite creators Irrational Games to produce full scale Sky-Hook replicas.
While the production versions won’t be available for a while yet, Irrational Games is giving away a prototype version shipped in an exclusive custom-built box. For a chance to win, all you need to do is follow @IrrationalGames on twitter and retweet the contest announcement.
There’s no word on when the contest will end, but I wouldn’t wait around too long.

Hollywood fabricator Eddie Paul is selling a life-size replica bike from Akira on Craigslist for only $4000. It was made for Kanye West’s video for the song Stronger, but the footage was ultimately cut from the final product. It’s even signed by Kanye himself—but despite that it’s still pretty cool.
Besides the whole Kanye connection, the only other catch is that it its bike is a non-working model meant for display only. Still, $4000 is not a bad price to pay for a collectible like this.

Hot Toys unveiled their Thor figure back in January, but now they are giving his father Odin the same highly detailed treatment with a 1/6th scale figure. Check out additional images after the break.
