Ready for a nap? Designer Kawamura Ganjavian created this Ostrich mini-environment which supposedly creates the perfect atmosphere for sleeping on the job:

It is neither a pillow nor a cushion, nor a bed, nor a garment, but a bit of each at the same time. Its soothing cave-like interior shelters and isolates our head and hands (mind, senses and body) for a few minutes, without needing to leave our desk.

It’s hard to tell how one could breathe in this thing, or how they could use it without getting fired – but its nice to know that someone is thinking of the world’s slackers.

Recently, I was having a discussion about CGI insanity – and suggested that actors will eventually be replaced by CGI. Imagine my shock when I discovered this video by Janimation which shows a CG head with surprisingly natural movements. My guess is that eventually all historical figures in movies will be replaced by this type of technology, so they will look exactly the way they did in reality, adding to the realism of the film and probably reducing its budget… Better start hoarding your paychecks, Hollywood.
