If you’ve ever wanted to speed date the dead, there’s a new product on the market that can help make it happen. Personal RosettaStones are small stone tablets that allow a person to include a 1,000 word message and a picture on a device which will be implanted on their headstone after they kick the bucket. The message can then be picked up as a text message by anyone who has a web-enabled cellphone via a microchip in the tablet. They can also be engraved with hieroglyphic-style symbols called “Life Symbols” that can help tell your story.
The best part? Instead of batteries, the microchip uses magnetic fields of a passerby’s phone to power up, meaning the device can send messages for 3,200 years. So you can keep telling people how much your life sucked well after they have stopped caring and your body has been reduced to dust… How uplifting.
