Rick Hamel built this badass R/C dragon called “Mythical Beast” which measures over 7′ in length and has a wingspan of 9′. The dragon took over a year to construct and consists of over 60 molded parts. Power is provided by a Jetcat P80 Kerostart turbine while a fire-breathing effect is achieved with liquid propane and a stun gun.

Early Ehlinger of Memphis created this awesome 40 foot long fire-breathing dragon using a wood frame, chicken-wire subskin and red cotton skin.
The head is AC ductwork, with a custom-welded mouth. There is a lawn torch/flame thrower mounted inside the head.

This fire breathing Lego dragon can light cigarettes and toast s’mores! Though it would have been even more awesome with a little propellant (Lego dragon flamethrower), but I doubt the Lego bricks could handle it.

Your normal concerns when breaking in a new joystick are where the buttons are, their spacing and which button controls which functions. Other than likely idealized descriptions of Santa Claus in Christmas carols, there is no good description of the real Santa Claus. I think this dragon rendition of Santa is much cooler than the generally accepted old coot. I know I am not going to argue with a Santa who breathes fire and has claws that could tear me to shreds. Your kids will have a lot more incentive to be good than just the possible loss of presents.

October may be behind us, but if you can’t let go of Halloween yet, plan to pick up one of these monster stockings for the Christmas season.
