File these under things you wish you could buy, but can’t. Sadly, these haven’t actually been produced. These are the latest 3D designs from A Large Evil Corporation, following up on their fantastic Cornetto Trilogy designs featuring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. We desperately want them all to be real.

Remember the talk about Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell revving up Evil Dead again from a while back? Well, Shock Till You Drop reported that Sam Raimi, his brother, and Bruce Campbell revealed that they’re working on an Evil Dead TV series during Friday’s Screen Gems panel.

However, Campbell’s role in the series was unclear, so a fan asked later.

There’s been chatter about Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell making Army of Darkness 2 for a while now, but the rumors tend to swirl up for a while and then die down.

Well, there was another bubble of news straight from Bruce Campbell at Wizard World Nashville for people who are hoping to see Ash again.

Campbell told ComicBook.com the following:

The last one was 22 years ago. I just haven’t been racing to do it. Sam Raimi is just a little bit busy making the biggest movies in Hollywood. I use to be busy. Now I’m not. That’s why I’m here. . . Ash would have to stop occasionally from chasing some deadite to catch his breath. Maybe we could do that, I guess. That would be exciting. Fight in a walker. That would be alright. Hit them with my cane. Fake them out, have a fake heart attack, distract a zombie. I like it. . . Alright sir, the answer is yes.

Yeaaaaaaah, Baby!

Evil Dead Dr Seuss

What do you do if Deadites are in your shed? Use your boomstick on them until they are really dead.

Talented artist DrFaustusAU has brought us many cool Dr. Seuss and video game mash ups (like these) and he’s also created this awesome one for Evil Dead. He wrote a verse to accompany it:

I chained and locked the cellar door–
There’s something strange beneath the floor.

When Luke Skywalker went into a bacta tank, he knew exactly what he wanted. Forget a mechanical hand, give that boy a chainsaw. Speaking of, I think a Star Wars and Evil Dead mash up would be amazing.

While in London for promo on the Oz the Great and Powerful, Sam Raimi did a Meet The Filmmakers event and, when asked about Evil Dead, he said “I would love to make Evil Dead 4. My brother and I plan to work on the script this summer”.

Plan to work on the script this summer. Be still my Ash loving heart.

Thanks to the Disney Movies UK Twitter account, fans of Raimi and Evil Dead are very likely already asking questions as to whether Ash will put in an appearance and, if so, how. Seems like it would be a given.

This would also mean that two Evil Dead franchises would be running side by side. As long as Bruce and Raimi are involved somehow we have no problem with that.

Charlie Brown has gone badass in this mash-up created by Justin Hillgrove for the “Icons and Influences” show coming to the Ltd. Gallery next April. All of the 30-40 pieces at this Seattle, Washington show will be pop culture tributes and parodies. These three images are a preview and include mash-ups of Peanuts/Evil Dead, Where The Wild Things Are/Studio Ghibli and Where The Wild Things Are/The Usual Suspects.

The original Evil Dead Necronomicon was pretty creepy with big eyeballs and a wicked looking mouth. The version that we’ll see in the new movie loses the teeth and eyes, but still manages to be just as creepy. The Necronomicon is based on a book in the 1924 H.P. Lovecraft story The Hound which features a magical manuscript bound in human skin. The new one captures this look with a zig-zag pattern of stitches across the flesh of the cover. Ew.
