fan films

Anita Kalathara and Landis Aponte may have had zero budget to work with, but the Ms. Marvel fan film they produced is still spectacular. It provides a strong case for bringing Kamala Khan into the MCU—something that certainly should be considered with the release of Captain Marvel in 2019. [click to continue…]

Back in July we posted a teaser for a live action Futurama fan film entitled Fan-O-Rama, and it looked incredible. Then we were mesmerized by the live-action Hypnotoad. hoshino

Star Wars fan films are plentiful, but Stephen Vitale’s Hoshino caught our attention for the story, performance, and direction. It stands apart from the crowd.

In it, Anna Akana plays a blind Jedi named Ko Hoshino who recalls being a padawan who is eager to get her hands on a lightsaber and chafes against the teachings of her master (Tim McKernan).

It’s an emotional short, and it’ll have you feeling sorry for those poor troopers, henchmen or not. Watch it below. [click to continue…]

warhammer fan film

Warhammer 40K fan, Senior 3D Artist, and filmmaker Erasmus Brosdau has turned his love for the game into an absolutely incredible looking fan film called The Lord Inquisitor. Seriously, it’s one of the most ambitious and breathtaking fan film projects we have ever seen. [click to continue…]
