
After the death of the Human Torch, some of you might have been left wondering what would happen to the Fantastic Four. The answer, apparently, is that they will regroup as a new superhero team known as the Future Foundation (FF)—and Spider-Man will join the team.
You can see them in there new duds in the cover for FF #1 (left) and the variant cover (right) pictured above (click to enlarge).
“FF will alter the very fabric of the Marvel Universe,” explained Tom Brevoort, Senior Vice President of Publishing. “Jonathan and Steve have crafted a unique, powerful new series that’s going to surprise a lot of fans with its combination of mind-blowing ideas and visuals.”
Injecting Spider-Man into the Fantastic Four will probably boost sales, but it feels like Marvel is kind of pimping out the character and spreading him too thin. But what do you think? Vote in the poll after the break.
