This ingenious side-scrolling Super Mario in a Box game was created using a Teagueduino and a few inputs and outputs. It pits Mario against Goombas, portal tubes and other obstructions that must be avoided, lest you end up making that universal annoyed sound that always accompanies defeat.
A knob is provided on the side for control, and as you advance, the movement increases in speed. Check out a video of the game in action, as well as a breakdown of its construction after the break.

Just days after that live-action Mortal Kombat short film emerged, the game trailer has made its debut. And unlike the film, the game is official.
Looks like fans can expect all of the stuff that made the original series so great—straight up fighting and totally insane brutality (might be the most gruesome ever). The game is expected to arrive sometime in 2011.

In an effort to pull the Rubik’s Cube out of the 1980s, designers have produced the new Rubik’s Slide, which will cost about $40, and should be available later this year. The Slide differs from its retro counterpart by using 9 illuminated squares that must be manipulated to match a pre-determined pattern while employing over 10,000 puzzles of varying difficulty. What better way to introduce mind boggling frustration to a new generation of potential cube enthusiasts?

This game is supposed to be fun because one partner will be laying on the sheet while the other has to dance to the instructions. Supposedly the moves they are forced to perform will all be a turn on. Of course it could also lead to one person being injured by their partner’s not so coordinated dancing or a sight that is just not pretty. Come to think of it, there is probably an 80% chance of that based on the lame moves you see the large majority of people trying. Some call it public dancing, I think it looks more like public humiliation.
