Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys teamed up with artists Takayuki Takeya and Yuji Onik to create this Samurai Predator sixth scale figure, which will be the first offering in Hot Toys’ Artist Collection. The figure features a newly sculpted head and body, detailed accessories, weaponry, and a diorama base with a defeated Alien body, and is slated for a 2nd quarter 2012 release. No matter how many reboots the studios try and churn out, I grew up with Christopher Reeve in the character and he will always be my Superman. That having been said, Hot Toys has worked their magic once again to bring Reeve’s portrayal to life in a ridiculously detailed 1/6th scale figure.

The guys at Hot Toys were busy over the holiday weekend, revealing their upcoming 1/6th scale MMS DX Indiana Jones Figure from Raiders and all new licenses for the 1989 Batman movie, Metal Gear Solid, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Captain America, Sucker Punch and Space Pirate Captain Harlock.
