In case you haven’t heard, the downfall of civilization is proceeding full steam ahead now that “words” like OMG, LOL, FYI and the <3 emoticon have officially become part of the Oxford English Dictionary’s lexicon.

However, you’ll be happy to know that our youngest generations are not actually responsible for these terms. For example, the origins of OMG can be traced back to 1917, LOL got its start back in the ’60s as an abbreviation for “little old lady” and FYI was first used as corporate lingo back in 1941. As for <3, well I suppose we will have to credit that to the Twilight crowd.

I have no idea what some people are doing in the shower that it takes them more than ten minutes to clean themselves off. I do know that having this shower curtain is not only not going to reduce their time in the shower, but it may exacerbate the problem. The shower curtain has French, German and Italian to English translations. Pick one up before your next European tour and maybe you will learn enough to find out where the bars and bathrooms are. Just the necessities, of course.
