A guy named Martin recently constructed a portrait of Mario using 49 cheap Rubik’s cubes. Although the art took about a half hour to create (impressive), you can watch the process in a mere 1:14 thanks to the magic of time-lapse. Check it out after the break.
If you’ve ever wondered how Nintendo thanks its employees for 20 years of faithful service – here’s the answer. This bronze Mario was awarded to Jerry Danson, Senior Manager of Systems and Engineering. His son posted this photo on Reddit and reported that his Dad’s job consists primarily of designing, building, and operating the machines that produce the packaging for all their games. I’m sure it would have been nicer if Mario’s hand had a bonus check in it.
