We’ve known Loki was the villain in the upcoming Avengers movie for a while, but the appearance of his army has been kept super secret. However, toys have given it away. The final figures of the Diamond Select Avengers line were revealed at C2E2 last weekend, and Loki’s Army Footsoldier looks quite impressive.

Robert Kirkman’s popular comic book series are getting their very own Minimates. As the recent midseason premiere proved, the television show continues to create hordes of rabid fans as well; so we would expect Diamond Select Toys to make figures based on those characters somewhere down the line as well. No details on pricing or a release date have been announced.

Either that or he’s stripping on the side.

As one of New York City’s resident superheroes, Spider-Man sees a lot of fires, and puts his strength, agility and Spider-Sense to good use rescuing anyone who might be trapped inside the burning building. But the real heroes are the men and women who do the same thing every day, without the benefit of a radioactive spider-bite. They may not be able to scale walls without a ladder, or break down a door without an axe, but the firefighters of NYC have truly earned the name “New York’s Bravest.” This two-pack of 2-inch Minimates mini-figures pairs Firefighter Spidey with an NYC Fireman, and includes an axe, a flashlight, and various interchangeable parts. Limited edition of only 3,000 pieces!

They’ll be available this winter at comic shops and online retailers.
