obama

As you’ve probably know, President Obama is considered to be a pretty big nerd. Perhaps that’s why he went the extra mile and shared a Vulcan salute with Star Trek’s Uhura, Nichelle Nichols, when she visited the White House for Black History Month this past February. Apparently, Nichols just recently received the photo and decided to share it with the world via Twitter (after taking some time to enjoy it for herself). She writes:

A photo came to me in the mail that I’ve kept for myself for over a week, but now it’s time to share it with Trekkers everywhere.
