outhouse-rug

If you are looking for a nice area rug for your entryway, this Outhouse Rug will give your guests something a greeting that they may not take kindly to. The problem is that if you are buying this to make your place look better, maybe a bare patch of floor by your front door is not your biggest problem.

outhouse-string-lights

To some, a bathroom is just a bathroom. To others, it’s a shrine for worship and meditation. If you fall into the latter category, these outhouse and toilet paper string lights will provide soft, comforting light that will work great with the pictures of John Mayer, Kanye West and the cast of the Hills you put above your toilet to spring your bowels into action.

outhouse-toilet-brush-holder

This is no lame little picture on a toilet brush holder, you get a miniature version of an actual outhouse. As long as you can keep your guests from peeing in it as a joke it will add a nice touch to your bathroom decor.

An outhouse on my dinner table is not what I would typically think of as appetizing. But the aptly named “Full of P” and “Full of S” shakers may just amuse me enough to let them sit proudly next to my mac and cheese. And hey, better outhouse shakers than outhouse air fresheners.

outhousematch2.jpg

It would only be polite of your guests to strike a match after totally polluting your bathroom. Make it simple for them and set this outhouse on the back of the toilet.  You can open the door to load the matches and use the strike plates on the sides to light it up. While there may be disagreement about whether the match actually cleanses the air or just masks it with a sulphur smell, there is no doubt that decorating your bathroom with an outhouse is a bit ironic.

I have had enough of those stupid plastic shower curtain rings that inevitably break. These nice little hooks are metal with the added bonus of little outhouses on each one. So not only do you get the sturdiness of metal hooks, you get the nostalgic feel of outhouses.

One thing I am pretty sure of: If you had to actually use an outhouse in the winter, you would probably not feel nostalgic about it. Just a wish for heat.
