Nice place to park your Landspeeder. Could get swallowed up by a Sarlacc down there.

We just got word that a new Super 8 camera app has been released in the App Store and it is free for a limited time.
The app ties in with the upcoming J.J. Abrams flick, and if you are into retro photography/video it’s looking like a must-have for your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch (4th gen), and iPad 2.
I haven’t had a chance to play around with it much at this point, but it looks badass so far. Right off the bat you wil notice a beautiful UI and plenty of effects. And again, it’s totally free right now.
Check out the full list of features after the break.

That having been said, feast your eyes on more in the photo gallery and bio after the break.

Check out some of the work photographer and Flickr user Avanaut did with Star Wars Lego minfigs after the break. They come straight from the icy planet of Hoth where you’ll find Snowtroopers enjoying the snow.

What you see here was achieved without post-editing of any kind. The entire image was created inside Janne Parviainen’s Sony A200.
Straight from the camera. When you’re standing two hours in a knee deep snow in minus 20 celcius degrees taking photos, playing with fire starts to sound like a great idea, haha! I only burnt my coat just a little while doing this, oops!
