The pics are only renders at this point, but a mega-rich client in Florida has paid Elite Home Theater Seating $2.5 million to create this elaborate Pirates of the Caribbean-themed home theater. When completed, it will include a ticket booth entrance, tavern and ship deck.

Just in case you missed them during the Super Bowl last night, we’ve compiled the debut trailers for some of the nerdiest upcoming movies.

Disney has announced a new toy line and the game Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game to coincide with the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides due out on May 20th, 2011.
That’s all well and good, but check out actor Ian McShane (aka Blackbeard) admiring this life-sized Lego sculpture of Jack Sparrow.

Johnny Depp and crewmates from the upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides showed up in character at a Greenwich, south-east London school this week to help 9-year old girl named Beatrice stage a revolt against her teachers—per the request she made in a letter to Captain Jack. Naturally, the event was captured on video (albeit a crappy one).
You gave us Davy Jones in “Pirates of the Caribbean”, Viktor in “Underworld” and Slartibartfast in “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. You’ve certainly earned your wings Bill Nighy. So, here’s how you’ll be immortalized after providing 30 plus years in the entertainment industry. Enjoy!
These two Pirates of the Caribbean shot glasses have a little something for everyone. The women would obviously take Johnny Depp just because they find him attractive. And half the men would take Davy Jones because men like gross things in general. The other half of the men probably just prefer men that don’t have beards consisting of tentacles. Although that could change after a few shots.
