IMAX is hosting lots of midnight screenings for The Avengers on May 4, and to celebrate what is sure to be an awesome movie, they’re releasing a special, limited edition poster. It features the superhero team ready for battle (click to enlarge).
IMAX will be giving these away to everyone who attends the 12:01 screening at participating locations. If you’ve been on the fence about staying up late, this poster might seal the deal.
Check for participating theaters and get your tickets here.

This Minifig-ified version of The Avengers poster makes me wish the entire film was done in Lego. However, the good news is that Lego and Disney are giving away 2 million of these posters to fans that see the film on opening day, May 4th.
There aren’t any details on what theaters will have the posters, but with 2 million floating about, you have a decent shot of scoring one. You might also want to keep an eye out for all of the cool Lego toys coming out to tie-in with the film.

Since Dinotopia doesn’t exist, you may have have been forced to push aside your dream of hitching a ride to work on a T.Rex. However, if you have a picture of yourself in the straddling position (STRADDLING, not humping), you can at least get a glimpse of the experience without having to know a thing about Photoshop. Simply upload your pic to Dinoprints and they’ll give you a 24″ x 36″ print of yourself atop a Tyrannosaurs, Spinosaurus or Wooly Mammoth. If you want, you can even upload a picture of your pet.
Hit the jump to check out a selection of the $50 prints. More dino options are expected in the near future.
