
DeviantArt user Joker-laugh created this fantastic custom Aliens Vs. Predator chess set. There doesn’t seem to be any details, but thankfully a number of photos have been posted online – two of which you can check out after the break.

Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys teamed up with artists Takayuki Takeya and Yuji Onik to create this Samurai Predator sixth scale figure, which will be the first offering in Hot Toys’ Artist Collection. The figure features a newly sculpted head and body, detailed accessories, weaponry, and a diorama base with a defeated Alien body, and is slated for a 2nd quarter 2012 release. Once again, Hot Toys has come through with an amazing figure sculpt. Their latest is a 1/6th scale Noland figure from the film Predators.

If I were a LEGO minifig I would keep my distance from this terrifying construction. LEGO bricks tend to make most things cute, so I didn’t think that Predator in LEGO format could be scary. I was wrong. Shawn Snyder even got the dreads just right.

Geoff Trapp designed this awesome Predator Batsu for NECA but he says they declined to mass produce it. Why the hell would they do a dumbass thing like that you ask? Good question.

I realize you have a lot of choices when it comes to Predator nunchuck lamp tables, but if you can only pick one—make it his version from ProMech. Also available carrying a sword, spear and laser gun.
Was it a good idea for Robert Rodriguez to beat a dead horse with Predators? If money is your main objective, then that’s probably a “yes”. As Kotaku notes, money was certainly a motivator, but Rodriguez also had a Predator script floating around since the mid-’90′s and a passion to prove some kid wrong:
