Kudos to Syfy for coming up with what could be the most awesome television movie ever. And with Roger Corman at the helm, you know you are getting a top quality B-movie.

No details on when this will air just yet, but I’m already proposing a sequel: Sharktopus vs Ninja.

Uh…what?

Apparently, this is a tasty, frosted mashup inspired by two powerful artistic masterpieces: Batman takes on Vader with a lightsaber and Batman takes on a shark with a lightsaber. Of course, both sharks could be dueling with lightsabers in their mouths. That’s a missed opportunity.

You can have your Monopoly and your Trivial Pursuit—I prefer games that are dangerous and have no clear objective. Take this Shark Attack game for example. Players take turns pushing down a shark tooth until SNAP! It bites down on a finger. Ahhh…good times.

Just in case you haven’t noticed, the Discovery Channel is in the midst of its 21st annual Shark Week tradition (July 27th to August 2nd). To commemorate this momentous occasion, I present to you this 8-foot Revenge of the Great White Shark Sculpture. You can put this monster anywhere you have room—but if you are fortunate enough to own a pool, a setup like the one illustrated in the image above is ideal.
