stan lee

This awesome fan made poster imagines what a Stan Lee biopic starring Bryan Cranston would look like.

Naturally, the real Stan Lee would cameo – which would be weird as hell.

The iconic Marvel man himself, Stan Lee, is now making a cameo on LEGO Ideas as a 649-piece bust set.

If busts aren’t your thing, then check out Stan Lee’s LEGO Office set which was just proposed last month. The 134-piece set includes two Stan Lee and Spider-Man minifigs, as well as office memorabilia like Captain America’s shield, Iron-Man’s helmet, Thor’s hammer, and even a photo of Jack Kirby.

As you know, LEGO Ideas projects need 10,000 votes to get an official review by LEGO, and these are probably longshots. However there’s still plenty of time to gain support.

lee vs henson

In this truly epic rap battle of revolving burns, Stan Lee faces off against Jim Henson to determine which fantasy universe is the greatest of all time.

“Greetings, heroes! Stan Lee’s here to battle! It’s the mind behind The Hulk against the geek beneath the Fraggles.”

The jabs are hilarious (and personal). Even Kermit gets in on the fight with smack talk about Jack Kirby.

But a third combatant enters the frey towards the end to shake things up in a big way.

Watch the rap insanity after the break.

There have been plenty of rumors circulating about the deleted Stan Lee cameo from Guardians of the Galaxy and how Disney said it couldn’t be used in the film. Director Peter Gunn posted the above image on his Instagram account and explained that Disney had nothing to do with the decision to cut the scene.

Stan Lee GotG cameo

If there’s a Marvel movie, Stan Lee will show up in it. He’s had a cameo in just about all of them (his appearance in The Avengers is pictured above), and that includes Guardians of the Galaxy. He didn’t show up in the film as director James Gunn intended though. Gunn appeared on a couple of panels at Dragon Con, and Collider reports the following about Disney saying no to the initial plan for Lee’s cameo:

Originally, Gunn had planned to have Lee in one of the Collector’s exhibits. Groot would then look at the exhibit aghast, to which Lee would flick off the large tree creature.

I can see why Disney nixed that scene, but I think it’s a better idea than the cameo we saw.

He might be getting up there in years, but here’s photographic proof that Stan Lee is still large and in charge. Lou Ferrigno posted this great picture of Stan the Man stepping between Ferrigno (Hulk) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) to break up what would undoubtedly have been an epic fistfight.

You could call this a rumor, but since it’s actually coming from Stan Lee himself, it’s likely got some truth. According to a recent interview in The Hollywood Reporter, Stan Lee isn’t getting a cameo, but a “big role” in an upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. There’s no word on the details of his role, but his appearance will be in the February 4th episode so we don’t have long to wait!

Do you know what bugs Stan Lee about Superman? It’s not that he’s boring, rather he doesn’t really get how Superman flies. Granted, a quick internet search will lead you to all kinds of information on Kryptonian gravity, but it seems that Stan doesn’t visit Wikipedia all that much.
