In the past, Exploding Rabbit Games released Super Mario Bros. Crossover, which allows you to play the game as a multitude of different Nintendo characters. Now they’ve announced an upgrade called Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2, which will improve on the existing game with a few new playable characters (Luigi, Proto Man, Mega Man rival Bass) as well as new abilities and updated graphics that allow users to switch between NES, Super NES and Gameboy modes.
The game is slated for release in the first quarter of 2012. Check out the trailer after the break.
