We got our first glimpse at the upcoming Transfomers: Dark of the Moon during the Super Bowl, but that’s nothing compared to what you’ll see after the break.
The third installment looks like it is shaping up to be a lot better than the second—thank God.
Remember that epic Megatron tank build by Yang Junlin aka “Steel Legend” (or Legend of Iron)? Well, that’s not the only scrap metal Transformers sculpture he’s been working on. In fact, he has a veritable army of bots—some of which are pictured after the break.

For all of their advancements in robot technology, Transformers are woefully inadequate when it comes to passenger safety. I don’t even think they have airbags.

Feast your eyes on this amazing Megatron tank made by a Chinese guy that goes the name “Steel Legend”. Just don’t get to close because just being in the same room with this thing is liable to give you lockjaw.
At any rate, Steel Legend is actually an appropriate moniker seeing has how this 11,000 pound metal sculpture was made using scrap parts with only a couple of pictures and what he gleaned from the movie itself. Check out more images after the break.

Hasbro has sent us several images showing stars playing with new toys from their own movies. The list includes Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with Michael Bay (Transformers).

Hasbro just dropped a bomb of awesome new Toy Fair 2011 releases on us from their GI Joe, Marvel, Star Wars and Transformers line. There is way too much stuff to break down, so check out the press releases and a selection of thoroughly random gallery images after the break.
A little over a week ago we posted an infographic detailing the vehicles that inspired the original Autobots, and as a follow up we have the Decepticons version pictured after the break.
On a side note, errors found in the Autobot version have since been corrected with a disclaimer noting that “artistic liberties” were taken since not all of the art from the ’80s was readily available. See if you can spot any errors in Decepticons version.

There seems to be a giant robot battle raging between Japan and China, and the latter has just weighed in with a 36-foot tall, 11-ton Optimus Prime made out of 20 wrecked vehicles.
