Whether you liked Tron:Legacy or not, it’s hard to deny that the visual effects were pretty awesome. We have Digital Domain to thank for that—and you can check out their behind the scenes work after the break.
Warning: spoilers ahead.
The fan-made video after the break features an 8-bit interpretation of Tron:Legacy that’s a lot like an animated version of this shirt.
It even features an 8-bit version of Daft Punk’s Derezzed.

Check out the video after the break to the interactive mini half pipe ENESS skaters in Melbourne, Australia got to try out during the premier of Tron:Legacy.
Each rider was equipped with an iPod touch loaded with a custom app that measured airtime and triggered custom graphics while in the air and during landings.
But if you don’t have $55,000 burning a hole in your pocket, this Tron-inspired Skatecycle is probably as good as it is going to get.
Basically, Alon Karpman of the Brooklyn Workshop took one of their Freerider Skatecycles ($135) and decked it out with LEDs. As you will see in the video after the break, it definitely turned some heads.

Disney is capable of making some incredibly smart moves. One of these was to open the night club / arcade / laser light show that is ElecTRONica in California Adventures. They promote the upcoming Tron: Legacy and draw crowds into the park. Win, win.
Based on the video after the break, I would have to say that a Tron-themed Christmas would be a somber (if not entirely creepy) event.
Still, the optical illusion this guy created with string lights is pretty impressive.

Disney, Daft Punk and Monster have teamed up to deliver a set of gaming headphones inspired by the upcoming movie Tron:Legacy. They have glowing lights, a glossy finish and a detachable boom mic.
In typical Monster fashion, the Tron T1 headphones are also outrageously expensive—getting your hands on one will cost you $350. However, you can pre-order both the black and white versions for $50 less if you know where to look.

We got a taste of Daft Punk’s Derezzed with clips from Tron: Legacy back in October, but now the official video has made it’s debut.
As you will see in the video after the break, it features a little retro Tron flavor and nice little cameo at the end.

Back in June we first heard about Parker Brothers Choppers and their quest to build and sell street legal Tron Light Cycle replicas.
Well, in these last five months it appears as though the output has been increased from 5 bikes to 10 and the price has made an extreme leap from $35,000 to $55,000.
Nonetheless, we now have a better idea of what a potential customer might be getting themselves into thanks to pics and the demo video after the break.
