The first time I saw that mouse droid in Star Wars, I wanted it. Needed it. I’m sure I’m not alone.

That’s why I was happy to hear that sometime around mid-December, a remote-controlled Mouse Droid will be rolling into select locations at both Disneyland (If I had to guess, Star Trader) and Walt Disney World Resort. Hopefully, it will also be offered on the Shop Disney Parks app at some point.

The old Maelstrom ride at Epcot in Walt Disney World is being replaced by Frozen Ever After next year, and Disney has released the first details about the ride. It will be set in Arendelle during summer with Olaf and Sven preparing for a Winter Festival. Guests will see the trolls and hear the story of Anna and Kristof’s first meeting. Naturally, it will all end with Elsa singing Let it Go from her ice castle balcony.

One of my favorite characters to watch in Magic Kingdom is Gaston. He’s much like he is in Beauty and the Beast – so he’s awful – and the actors playing Gaston stay in character. One little girl named Isabella read him the riot act big time. I like this girl’s sass.
