Robert Kirkman’s popular comic book series are getting their very own Minimates. As the recent midseason premiere proved, the television show continues to create hordes of rabid fans as well; so we would expect Diamond Select Toys to make figures based on those characters somewhere down the line as well. No details on pricing or a release date have been announced.

This modified Mossberg 500 shogun had some impressive features, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the Zombie X from Doublestar. Features include a working chainsaw and a Holographic Sight that projects a biohazard symbol on your undead target. But the most interesting news is that Doublestar might actually sell this thing in the near future.

I’ve enjoyed the second season of The Walking Dead so far, but it seems pretty obvious that all the time they are spending at the farm is due to the issue of budget cuts—the rumored reason behind Frank Darabont being fired from the show.

That having been said, you probably didn’t know that actor Sam Witwer from Being Human was the zombie solider in the tank with Rick in Atlanta from the pilot, and it seems that there is a reason why Darabont went with Whitwer instead of some random extra.

Now that the smoke has cleared, Witwer has a few things to rant about.

The creative geniuses behind Coraline have a new stop motion flick with which to dazzle you. This one is about a misunderstood boy who has the ability to speak with the dead. A new trailer has just been released for ParaNorman, and it shows that the kid has got a lot to face. Like Coraline though, he seems more than ready to rise to the challenge.
