Oh, how I have been waiting for this day!
Finally, Gmail is officially available on your moblie phone. Just point your browser to http://m.gmail.com.
Having the ability to check my e-mail via my mobile phone was, up until this point, one of the only reasons why I was still holding onto my Yahoo! Mail accounts.
I also gave the system a brief tryout and, so far, it has been working perfectly. Google does say that it can handle attachments like photos and pdf files – which I have yet to try. I will make sure and add more information as soon as I have had more time to test the new service.
