EM-SEC Technologies says they have developed a paint that will block electromagnetic transmissions. While they seem to be aiming for the government/corporate market, there seems to be no end to the uses you could come up with.
Examples include: painting movie theaters with it to keep that cell phone chatter quiet, preventing neigbors from stealing Wi Fi without enabling encryption, and keeping your kids from using cellphones and laptops in their rooms. You could even offer to provide the paint for your “friend’s” living room just to watch him go crazy when he can’t figure out why he gets no reception in there.
