If the thought of waking up to a droid beeping, booping and rolling round frantically on your nightstand sounds like an effective alarm clock solution to you, then BB-8 is the droid you’re looking for.
Designed by Rhythm—a Japanese clock manufacturer—this mini-BB-8 boasts a little LCD display that’s tucked behind a panel. When the alarm goes off, BB-8 will start to roll around and chirp, or he can play a number of Star Wars tunes, like the Imperial March or the catchy Mos Eisley Cantina song.
This little droid clock will run for about $130, and it’ll be available in Japan next March. See it in action below.
