Dad Makes Awesome Portable LEGO Station For His Son

Well, it looks like Tez Gilmir is in the running for a nerdy Dad-of-the-year award. His son has a big thing for Lego, so Tez decided to make a portable workstation for him as a way to encourage him to keep pursuing his creative hobby.

The station unfolds and features a cabinet, bins, a little stool and a table where his son can play with his Lego. When everything’s packed away and the table and stool are folded back up, the station transforms into a giant Lego piece (you can see what it looks like after the break).

Some of you may be wondering…can I have an adult version of this?

The blueprint and the instructions on how to make this station at Instructables is a good place to start.
