You can find Kickstarter projects for just about anything these days, and I think this one for a rubber band shotgun proves it.
The Bandit Gun is made from birch plywood and each piece is laser cut for precision. After you assemble it using easy to follow instructions (in theory), you can fire at will until you run out of ammo. The shotguns can hold 9 or 10 rubber bands depending on the model. There’s “The Outlaw” and “The Sheriff,” and each has different modes of fire. You can let single shots go or opt for rapid fire. I don’t know that either of these designs hold a candle to the rubber band Gatling gun, but they do look easier to produce on a large scale.
Plus, if you’re among the first 2,000 to order a rubber band gun through Kickstarter you’ll get it in time for Christmas!
