Here’s Your Chance To Buy 1,950 Star Wars Action Figures

Clear some shelves and make room because you have the opportunity to own a huge collection of loose Star Wars action figures! And by huge, I mean 1,950 separate figures collected from 1978-2012. Yes, it includes the vintage Kenner line and though they are loose, they are all in very good condition.

But why would anyone part with a set this massive? Simply put, it’s for a good cause.

The collection is being auctioned by Rancho Obi-Wan, a non-profit organization, to celebrate their one year anniversary and to tie with the publication of Star Wars: The Ultimate Action Figure Collection: 35 years of Characters by Steve Sansweet (the President and CEO of Rancho). What better way to celebrate the release of a book about all the Star Wars action figures than this?! The set was donated to Rancho, and all proceeds will go to the non-profit.

They believe it to be the “largest single collection of unique Star Wars action figures ever made available on eBay.” The figures were taken out of the package and moved right to display cases. Given the high quality and the fact that the set is so complete, and an expert appraised it at a minimum of $8,200.

Even though I can’t afford the figures (bidding’s already at $3,900), it’s still fun to drool over the pictures and massive list of the characters included. Impressive is the only word for it.

Check out the auction and get your bid in at eBay!
